P.H.D.C.Ranaweera is a dedicated lecturer with a specialization in Tourism and Hospitality Management. With a Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality (OTHM Qualification) – following , Hospitality Management, Bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University College, Malaysia, and a Higher National Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the Advanced Technological Institute (SLIATE), Kandy, P.H.D.C.Ranaweera brings extensive knowledge and practical experience to the academic world. His expertise spans various roles within the hotel industry, including front office supervision and management, contributing to a rich, hands-on learning experience for students.
Currently serving as a Lecturer at CCBS Campus in Kandy, P.H.D.C.Ranaweera is committed to fostering an engaging learning environment that emphasizes practical application and real-world skills. His experience includes positions such as Front Office Supervisor and Receptionist at the Devon Hotel, Kandy, as well as a Training Receptionist at the Hotel Fresco Water Villa, Sigiriya.
In addition to a strong foundation in tourism and hospitality, P.H.D.C.Ranaweera has completed specialized courses, including a Spoken English & Grammar course at the British Council, and Chinese and German language certificates from the Department of Trade, Commerce & Tourism, Central Province, Sri Lanka.
